About
An experienced mining Construction Manager and Director with a reputation for getting things built, from remote-site infrastructure and tailings dams to full-scale plant developments.
Richard has more than two decades of hands-on leadership on gold mining projects in Canada, the U.S., and Brazil. His work covers early works, engineering oversight, contractor management, and construction execution. He specializes in turning designs into reality: driving procurement to meet aggressive timelines, leading multidisciplinary teams, and resolving environmental and permitting constraints. He is a dual Canadian/U.S. citizen, fluent in French and English, and known for a direct style, strong standards, and the ability to lead under pressure. He has run Noansana Consulting Inc. since 2010.
